Surfing holidays in Fuerteventura, Corralejo: the best spot in Europe!
The Canary archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean is a top destination for surfing enthusiasts. Each of the main islands has something unique to offer in terms of surfing conditions, culture and scenery. I’ll try to summarise the surfing characteristics of each island and how they might suit a mainly beginner clientele. As your best seller is Corralejo, which is on Fuerteventura, I’ll try to compare the other options with this spot.

Fuerteventura
- Main Features: Fuerteventura is often referred to as the ‘Hawaii of Europe’. It is known for its white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.

Tenerife

For beginners, Tenerife and Gran Canaria may also be good options to consider because of their tourist infrastructure and suitable surf spots.
