Teen Surf Camp Bilbao, Spain - Rooms
At Surf Camp Bilbao we have a spa, large terraces, relaxation areas, a hammock area, a surf bar with a restaurant specialising in healthy food, a large garden, skateboard ramps, a multi-purpose dome, a yoga area and a basement garage for guests. We also have 11 double rooms, 6 family rooms and 6 group rooms, all with private bathrooms.
We have 75 beds divided into 12 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, showers and changing rooms, industrial kitchen, dining room and a large lounge with a 50-inch screen. Also with heated swimming pool, laundry area, indoor projector area. Free WiFi and cable TV.
Private room
This room offers mountain views. Fitted with parquet flooring and a beamed ceiling, it has 1 double bed.
Dormitory
This bed is located in a shared dormitory. The room has a private terrace, wooden floors, a fireplace and bunk beds.
Our activities
Surf
Whether you're an advanced surfer or a first-timer, our surf camp offers you the best conditions for surfing. Thanks to its shape, our beach offers waves for all levels. What's more, even if you come in summer, there will always be waves to learn to surf.
Our surf instructors are all qualified, know the coast well and have many years' experience. They love to surf and share their passion with their students. The aim of our surf camp is for you to learn and perfect your technique while enjoying some unique moments. Our surf lessons are given by "La Salbaje Surf Eskola", who have been teaching surfing for over 16 years.
Course Paddle Surf
Our paddle surf and big paddle surf outings are a must at our surf camps. In an incomparable setting, such as the Plentzia estuary, our big paddle surf battles are a classic feature of our surf camps and an unforgettable experience.
Sessions in Bilbao's best street spots
You can skate at the Basauri pier, in Amezola square, in the city centre spots and in many other places that you see in the videos and that you can choose yourself..
Visits to the best skateparks
We'll be going to the legendary Kantera skatepark, Amurrio skateplaza, Leioa skatepark, Basauri pier and other parks in the region.
Workshops
You'll be able to take part in photo shoots with top skaters, learn how to use photo and video cameras and the post-production process. What's more, all your progress will be immortalised by our team of photographers and film-makers and you'll be able to share it with your friends through daily publications on Dogwaymedia.com.
Entertainment
We'll take advantage of the environment in which the house we'll be staying in to be in constant contact with nature and, what's more, you'll be able to enjoy the best skate videos, tips on staying fit and improving your stretching and share free outdoor barbecues with your fellow adventurers. What's more, in the house itself we'll have 2 miniramps and an urban circuit.

At our surf camps, you'll discover some of the most emblematic places in the Basque Country. Thanks to our location at Moana Surf Camp, we can offer you excursions you'll never forget.
Island of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe
Located in the Biscayan town of Bermeo, it enjoys a privileged environment and is a classic among our excursions. The island gained worldwide fame thanks to its appearance in the famous Game of Thrones series.
Bilbao
As could not be otherwise, in our surf camps there is no shortage of visits to Bilbao. You can visit the San Mamés area, the Guggenheim Museum or Abandoibarra, taking a route along the banks of the Nervión until you reach the Casco Viejo. Here you can sample the famous pintxos.
Azkorri Beach
It's one of the most beautiful beaches on our coastline and it's almost untouched. It has large cliffs, a green area, volleyball courts... It's an excursion not to be missed.
Getxo's old port and suspension bridge
An excursion that we normally do in our surf camps for adults. The oldest suspension bridge in the world and the pintxos area of Getxo's Old Port are visited.
The fishing village of Armintza
This is an excursion that we do at almost all our surf camps. It allows you to get to know this beautiful traditional fishing village and enjoy a unique landscape. What's more, you can enjoy its beautiful beach.
In the vicinity
We are located in the town of Urduliz in a wooded area, but only 15 minutes from Bilbao airport and 1 km from the underground station. In just a few minutes, from the door of our hostel, you can enjoy many incredible places between the sea and the mountains.
